Diagnostic

Veterinary diagnostics allow veterinarians to delve beyond the surface to investigate what is going on inside your pet’s body. Procedures such as radiology ( X-rays) and laboratory testing provide much insight and allow the veterinarian to be much more likely to make a correct diagnosis on your pet, and thus improve the treatment outcome.

Radiology – The Pet Doctor of Flushing is equipped with digital radiology technology, which allow us to perform rapid, high quality radiographic studies. The results are immediate and can be easily shared with the pet owner or can be send digitally to a board certified radiologist who can provide timely consultative services.

Laboratory – Our state-of-art laboratory equipment allow our trained veterinary technicians to perform a variety of diagnostic tests to further aid the doctor in the diagnosis of your pet. We are able to run blood chemistry tests, complete blood cell counts, urinalysis, electrolytes, fecal analysis, and other common procedures that are quick and accurate. When the veterinarian thinks it is necessary to run more advanced diagnostics and uncommon disease identifications, we are able to obtain such information through our veterinary reference laboratory in an expedient matter. This allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose and prescribe treatment based on scientifically based information. The results is a better prognosis for your pet.
